This Christmas, we celebrated Christmas with our family at the happiest place on earth…Disney World! We were blessed with the opportunity to go to Disney through our brother who is a cast member at Hollywood Studios. We started off our day at Animal Kingdom since they have the newest attraction, Pandora. We have been wanting to visit Pandora and we must say this attraction is absolutely breathtaking. The designers and imagineers at Disney who worked on this attraction are phenomenally talented. Photos do not give this attraction justice…you must see it for yourself and immerse in the Pandora experience!
One tip on your visit to Pandora is to try the Night Blossom drink. We are huge boba lovers and this drink gives a unique twist on boba which is inspired by Disney’s Pandora. The drink is a non-alcoholic beverage with a mixture of limeade with apple and dessert pear flavors topped with passion fruit boba balls. We thought the drink was refreshing with a great sweet and tarty flavor. Passion fruit is one of our favorite fruits, so we enjoyed the flavor of the boba balls. Also, they were popping boba balls and that added fun to the drink experience. We highly recommend trying this beverage as this comes a close second to us on our list of favorite Disney drinks. Right now, our front runner is still Disney’s Dole Whip found at Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.
After our morning at Animal Kingdom, we headed over to Epcot. Epcot is a wonderful place to visit if you are wanting to meet the Disney characters. The wait times to meet the characters at Epcot is significantly shorter than the wait at Magic Kingdom. Our Disney recommendation is to wait to meet the characters in the evening. Lines for meeting the characters tends to be busier in the morning due to all the excited children wanting to see their Disney favorites. Also, you should download the Disney app to stay updated on wait times so that you can immediately head over to meet the Disney Characters when the wait times begin decreasing. We literally waited for less than 15 minutes in line to meet our favorite Disney characters. It is such a great experience meeting the Disney characters and sharing that memory as a family.
We enjoyed both parks on Christmas Day, however we felt that Epcot had more of the Christmas and holiday vibes with the decorations and festive shows. We definitely want to do Christmas at Epcot again in the future. Our favorite Christmas experiences at Epcot were the shows including the Candlelight Processional narrated by Jaci Velasquez and the Joyful Holiday concert. Check out the short video of those experiences below, so that you can see clips of the festivities that happen on Christmas Day.
Overall, we had an amazing Christmas at Disney and hope you all have a wonderful Christmas as well!
