During the the holiday season, we kept it Disney! We spent Christmas at Disney. Then, we returned to ring in the New Year! We have to shout out our brother, Adrian, who is a cast member at Disney. Our family has truly been blessed by him with the opportunity to visit the parks and we are definitely grateful for the experiences. We decided to spend New Year at Hollywood Studios because we thought it would have the lowest crowd since the park is currently undergoing renovations as they prepare for Star Wars and Toy Story land. However, there was still a lot of people that came out to celebrate the New Year. We enjoyed our day in the park and definitely have some recommendations on what to see and do at Hollywood Studios.
The Frozen Show was one of our highlights of the day. We love the Frozen movie, so it was cool to see the audience sing along to all of the Frozen favorites. It was a fun and bright show that the family will enjoy. The jokes pretty good too! There is also a cool surprise at the end of the show that makes it an unforgettable experience. Plus, we also got to meet the ever lovable and cool Olaf after the show.
Another tip for Hollywood Studios is to watch the Fantastic show in the evening. It is a spectacular show that celebrates the best of Disney to stunning water displays and fireworks. It is a Disney show that you definitely should not miss! This show is located behind the Hollywood Tower of Terror. After watching the Fantasmic show, we headed straight to Sunset Boulevard to await the New Year’s countdown and Star Wars Spectacular fireworks. We were amazed by the lights in Hollywood…and we also can’t forget about the snow. The streets of Sunset Boulevard would be filled snow every few minutes and it was such incredible sight to see. Towards the end of the night, they had a DJ pumping out some awesome tunes. He had a good mix of old school and current jams that had everyone dancing in the street and enjoying the night. They also gave away free Disney New Years hats which was a cool souvenir to remember the evening. Overall, it was a fun way to ring in the New Year! We hope that each of you have a great year ahead! Happy 2018!
